The menu is hamburgers, hot dogs, sausages and a variety of snacks. Bring your family and friends for a day of talking football and getting acquainted with your fellow Nebraskans. An Opportunity Drawing for official Husker gear will be held at ~2:00. The Grand Prize will be a pair of tickets to a Husker home game.
Last February 10 2024, we celebrated the University's Founder’s Day! We teamed up with the San Diego Alumni Chapter to bring you a fun event at the beautiful Wilson Creek Winery in Temecula (35960 Rancho California Road).

Matt Davison, four-year letter winner at UNL, is currently President of The 1890 Initiative, a name, image, and likeness (NIL) collective that supports Nebraska student-athletes. Matt most recently worked as Nebraska’s Senior Associate Athletic Director, where he focused on the Go Big Project, which is poised to be one of the most elite training facilities in all of college athletics.

2023-2024 Scholarship winners were selected by the CFN Board of Directors at their latest Board of Directors meeting.
Five applicants received financial support with the help of CFN members and their donations in 2023/2024. The Scholarship Selection Committee is made up of Julie Burleson, Erik Van Fleet, Brian Olson and Ken Lautenschlager.
Please note that the scholarship applications for the 2024-2025 school year, are due by May 30, 2024.
